Alright, my tech-savvy friends, let's dive into this ocean of online chatter, shall we? Social media and new media are like two siblings who can't stop fighting for attention! Social media, the younger one, is all about interaction - think Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. New media, the elder brother, includes everything digital that's not necessarily social - think online newspapers, e-books, blogs, etc. So, in the end, it's like comparing apples and oranges - both are lovely but different, just like my coffee with cream and sugar - entirely different but both get me through the day!
